GANG WARZ
A Film by Chris T. McIntyre
Review by Eugenia Wright, Freelance Writer
The
title of this film sounds frightening but compared
to other films of the same genre the gangster element
was far from gripping. All the components for a
gang scenario were in place, drug lords (COOLIO),
Blacks vs. Hispanics, Compton vs. East LA, an apathetic
police department chief (ROBERT VAUGHN) and the
hard core back-stabbing prostitute (RINA FERNANDEZ),
but where was the terror?

The director of
Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory has spent millions on training squirrels
to crack nuts. Tim Burton was reportedly determined
to recreate the "nut Room" scene in Roald
Dahl's novel for his film. Tim said: "We used
actual rodents. From birth, we sent them to training
school for six months."
A source added: "Tim was determined to bring
the nut room to life. Using squirrels proved too difficult
in the first film, but he spent millions of pounds
getting it right." The film stars Johnny Depp
as Willy Wonka.
