Big Six
S&E Records
By RML

Born in Asbury Park, New Jersey as Pierre Nichols, Big Six made the decision a long time ago that he was going to turn a bad situation into something good. On his own, with no family or a place to call home, Six turned to the streets as a means of survival and support. Through the ranks he experienced hard knocks but refused to let them discourage him.

Inspired by the greats such as Biggie and Jay Z, Six began to formulate his for S&E Records as a way off the streets. Although he takes stock in the lessons that life has dealt him, he didn’t allow them to slow his flow. Now that all of the pieces are falling into place, his vision for S&E Records is becoming clearer everyday.

Six’s single, “Get Rich”/“In My Hood”, distributed by Nervous Records, is a no nonsense stroll through Asbury Park. He flows over a methodical beat that serves as a background to this colorful description of his hood. Pure and simple. If you listen carefully he is giving you the do’s and don’t. Nothing more, nothing less.

Although Six has overcome the odds that have been stacked up against him from the very beginning, he is still humble and knows that his work is just beginning. This rising star is proof all of us are capable of overcoming life objectives if we stay focused and work hard. He has an incredible and inspiring story to tell…just listen to the music.

She is a seasoned professional with more than 10 years of marketing and brand management experience
.

Tiffany began her professional career behind the scenes of the Sally Jesse Raphael show and the short lived Joan Rivers’ home shopping program, ‘Can we Shop’. THE LADYBUG

A decade after securing her place as a member of Hip-Hop Royalty, Mecca: the Ladybug is making her way back to the limelight spiritually grounded and domestically satisfied. Her life and sound have evolved through her experiences since leaving the Grammy Award-winning Digable Planets: the group that made her one of hip-hop’s most distinct female voices.

According to Ladybug, her new self-titled album, LADYBUG MECCA, was inspired by “…being me, the rhythm, being poetic, the weather, love, the innocence of children, wisdom of elders, experiences, sex, attraction, fantasy… it’s endless really. I could go on and on.” It’s a mature musical statement armed with the philosophy, spiritual awareness and a solid sense of self.

Looking back at her militant past, Ladybug says, “I was always conscious, but I was still limiting myself. I was dealing with a revolution in a physical sense, and not in a mental sense. It’s not gonna happen that way.” Her goal was not to recreate the glory of the past, but to move into a new sense of musical-freedom, something very worldly.

For Ladybug, this is an almost literal reincarnation. It is powerful and self-actualized. She says, “I am really kind of still getting to know my power. At this point, it’s full throttle.”
