Yetty D
Music, Art & Fashion - The world of Yetty D is a fusion of Afro/urban with a western flavour. Yetty’s style is inspired by contemporary art, hip hop fashion, rock and she’s got soul. Versatility is the key with a focus on women, menswear, and kids-wear – indeed something for everyone. Inspiration comes seamlessly through everyday experiences and the environment that we live in. If you are young at heart, trendy, fashion conscious and love to feel good in what you wear you will definitely be impressed with the style of Yetty.
Yetty D is an art/fashion based business created and owned by Yetty, an original contemporary artist adept at portraits, oil and acrylic paintings, drawings and watercolour paintings. As an artist Yetty has been commissioned to do portraits and artworks, and has participated in a number of exhibitions and organised quite a few herself. Establishing herself as a fashion designer and freelancer has afforded her the opportunity to work with designers such as Aria couture, and many more.
In the last few years Yetty’s focus has primarily been customizing and personalizing one-off piece T-shirts with her unique designs. She has participated in a number of fashion shows and showcased her exceptional talents. Yetty has also been commissioned to make bespoke T-shirts for a number of businesses including Mahogany Models 'Top Model of Colour' TMC, Tinubu Square Restaurant (UK), TL Couture (UK) to name but a few. More recently, she has organised fashion-shows for her line of clothes, and the end of year 2008 saw the launch of her line of one off pieces of limited edition clothing, bags, sneakers, scarves, and jewellery.
Yetty’s dream is to collaborate with the UK’s top designers and high street stores to design exclusive collections for their labels and shops. The ultimate goal is to own clothing boutiques with her line of limited edition clothing and accessories.

Engineered By Remy

Founded in 2006 by namesake Remy Hou, Engineered by Remy, has quickly become one of the most prestigious and exclusive luxury brands in Hollywood. His founding principle is simple change fashion through unique and innovative design. Remy built his company from the ground up through careful planning, innovative designs, viral marketing, gorilla promotions, and meticulously sewing all of his unique creations himself. One jacket alone can take as long as 12 hours to produce. Seeing the finished product, you cannot help but stare in awe at the completed masterpiece, something only a person born with a natural talent can create, it is undeniably ahead of its time.
In the short span of time from Fall 2006 to the present day, Engineered by Remy has evolved from solely making sport hoodies to leather jackets, jeans, men’s and women’s dress shirts, along with accessories. Engineered by Remy's future lines will include sport blazers, handbags, and his innovative sport-dress shoes. His pieces are so exclusive that they are not even in any boutiques but you will find them draped on celebrities, from John Legend to J Holiday and legendary rap artist MC Lyte who performs in his custom leather designs. Future plans include collaboration with M the Movement, making available for the first time to the public. “What you are witnessing is my vision being translated through apparel. I represent the endurance of a fighter: when the body is weak and tired, the only thing that will keep you going is your heart."
While Remys’ designs are breath taking, nothing can leave you more speechless than the story of the struggles the Hournhornnheanhou clan endured in their homeland before immigration to the United States. Rathana Hournhornnheanhou (Remy Hou) was born on May 7, 1981 into the aftermath of a gruesome war that killed 20 million Cambodians between 1975-1979. His family deeply affected by the loss of numerous relatives, immediate family, and the family’s eldest daughter. Being held captive in refugee camps and with their lives at stake they eventually escaped captivity and fled to a small village in Cambodia called Side Two. Living conditions were still desperate in this village in the deep jungle highlands where he and his family fought fever, sickness, thunderstorms, landmines, and the regime looking for his family. Remy recalls “There is a scar on the left side of my face which reminds me of the event when my family and I escape captivity in pitch dark. We ran through the jungle and a thorn bush ripped my face open like a knife cutting halfway through an apple. I was 2 or 3 but I didn’t cry.”
The tragic events in Cambodia led Remy and his family to migrate to the United States, Long Beach, CA in 1990 where he became literate in English and developed a passion for technology and clothing design. He then earned a Bachelors of Science in Telecommunications Management in 2002 and a Masters in Business Administration in 2004. Although he had never formally studied fashion in an academic setting, he discovered his calling in 2006 while working as a VIP Technical Supporter for Helio (now Virgin Mobile) in Westwood. There, he designed custom Helio sweaters on the side while troubleshooting the cellular network. In 2007, the positive feedback that he received from employers and clients encouraged him to create and establish Engineered by Remy. Remy explains: “I am doing this to show the world my vision of fashion. I am inspired by struggle, love, pain, dreams, and a hunger for success.”
Recognition of all of this hard work and struggle has allowed Remy access to producing many successful fashion shows in the hottest clubs of Hollywood, CA including The Kress and Social. In addition to fashion shows, Remy has also made many appearances at red carpet events, which have previously included The Tribute to Quincy Jones, The BET Awards, LA Lakers’ star Lamar Odom’s Charity Auction, John Legend Tour Events, Runway Magazines Oscar Gifting Suite, and numerous other high profile events.
