By Eugenia Wright, Freelance Writer

Danyelle-Amber Davis is the newest answer to Hollywood Glam. Red carpet celebrities of all ethnicities are flocking to her for a stroke of her magical brush.

Danyelle Amber readily admits that she is loyal to MAC Makeup by choice and her creations are designed with MAC cosmetic products almost entirely.

The young 24 year old’s fame started to rise just a little over a year ago when she created a new look for best selling Author, Bebe-Moore Campbell. Word spread and then (the late) Rick James, Tina Marie and Lil Kim called and now her celebrity client roster, which continues to rise, reads like a who’s who, names that we dare not mention due to privacy agreements.

But, it was this year’s appearance on OPRAH’S Fantasy Wedding segment that catapulted the young beauty whose name invokes warmth, to the very top. Once the buzz got out that Danyelle Amber Davis was the make-up artist behind the scenes creating the flawless look for “the” ultimate wedding on daytime’s talk majesty’s show, Davis’ phones started ringing non-stop. Now, Danyelle-Amber is in constant demand,

Recently, Danyelle-Amber was contracted to do the makeup for the Louis Vedaro 2005 Spring Collection and her picture graced the pages of Wire Image (entertainment photo news service). Many haute couture magazines will no doubt seize the opportunity to add her glamour shot to their publications, come spring.

Not only models and entertainers seek the latest trends but every woman who considers herself a DIVA. They want to know the next glam slam. Danyelle-Amber has some beauty hints to offer about what we can expect in 2005. So, listen up Brown Shuga Divas everywhere.

EW: How has being on Oprah impacted your career?

DA: It has been the pinnacle of my career. The vibe was wonderful. It was a great experience. It was something that I didn’t think would happen so soon. As a result I was offered the make-up job for a new reality show starring Lil Kim but I had to pass due to some other obligations. But, prior to Oprah, I don’t think I would have been called, I notice too that Tina Marie is requesting my services more and more; in fact, she just recently called me to do her make-up for her New Year’s Eve 2004 concert at the House of Blues.

EW: Daneyelle, what are some of the new make-up trends that we’ll be seeing in 2005?

DA: Purple and Green and peachy colors will be seen in the new season. The purple and green are carry-overs from fall trends. Also, you’ll be seeing a lot of clean makeup not overdone make-up. Skin will be the focus.

EW: Can you tell us some of your favorites?

DA: Moisturizers are my favorite. Anything that provides moisture to the face to keep it youthful is great. Moisture makes sure the texture of the skin stays nice. It is the most important part of make-up. Spring will be very dewy.

EW: What are your favorites.

DA: A & D ointment is my favorite (she smiles). MAC EZR too because it provides a slick finish to the skin before foundation. I also like false lashes.

EW: Heard you may be planning a fantasy wedding of your own soon. Can you give us dates?

DA: Sometime next fall. Maybe labor day weekend.

EW: We understand that you’ll be heading for the East Coast. What will that do in terms of your loyal client following here in Hollywood?

DA: I will still be on call for my West Coast clients and fly to whatever location they need me. They will still receive the same level of excellent service the only thing is that I will require is a little more lead-time. Moving to the East Coast will also open a whole new market. Now I will have more access to New York and I will probably be able to do more high fashion work in addition to television and film.
